Our social mornings are a good way to begin Thursdays. They give you time to meet new people, have a chat with friends, and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with a biscuit. You may also like a quiet moment to look through the book trolley. Card and board games are set out each week, and we also have a number of unusual board games for members to try. You are welcome to join in, but there is no need if you would rather sit and chat. We meet in the Memorial Hall from 10.00 for tea, coffee, and biscuits, and we hope you can join us.
Today we are also holding additional Mahjong games, kindly hosted by Jim. These sessions give members a chance to enjoy this well-loved game in a relaxed and friendly setting. Whether you already know how to play or would like to learn, you will be made very welcome. It is a good way to keep the mind active while spending time with others.
The normal £2 contribution applies, this pays for hall hire and refreshments
