Our Travel Group invites you to join us on a special Mystery Day Trip. This is a day out with a difference, where the destination is kept secret until the day of travel. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey as we take you to a place full of interest and charm. The day has been carefully planned to give you a good mix of sights, time to look around, and a chance to enjoy the company of fellow members.

Our Travel Group is planning a trip to the Southport Flower Show, a long-standing event cherished for its traditional displays and friendly atmosphere. Members can expect to see colourful flower beds, vegetable and fruit competitions, and carefully arranged floral exhibits that show off the best of gardening skills. There are also craft and gift stalls, with plenty of space to browse at a relaxed pace. Visitors can enjoy demonstrations on flower arranging, horticulture talks, and small animal displays, while the showground cafés and picnic areas provide a chance to rest and enjoy refreshments.

Oswestry u3a Travel Group is planning a day trip to Worcester,  this will be a relaxed “drop and run” visit, giving members the freedom to explore this beautiful and historic cathedral city at their own pace before returning to Oswestry later in the day. Worcester is a wonderful place to spend a day, with its rich history, stunning architecture, riverside walks, independent shops, museums, cafés and welcoming places to enjoy lunch. Whether you enjoy exploring the past, taking a gentle stroll, discovering local crafts, or simply spending time with friends, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

It is now 40 years since CHESS first opened in London’s West End, and it still holds a proud place in theatre history. Written by the talented Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus from ABBA, with lyrics by Sir Tim Rice,

Join us for a trip to Theatr Clwyd in Mold to see Pinocchio – The Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto. This lively show brings the well-known story of Pinocchio to the stage with music, laughter, bright costumes, and plenty of traditional pantomime fun. Follow Pinocchio on his journey as he dreams of becoming a real boy, meeting friends and learning lessons along the way. With songs, jokes, and audience participation, this promises to be an enjoyable theatre outing.
