The Oswestry U3A speaker programme features a diverse line up of engaging and informative talks by guest speakers, including members, covering a wide range of topics. Held regularly, these sessions provide members with the opportunity to learn from experts, gain fresh perspectives, and explore new areas of interest. From history and science to arts and local affairs, the programme is designed to be both stimulating and entertaining, offering something for everyone. The speaker events are a cornerstone of the U3A experience, fostering curiosity, learning, and lively discussion among members. Our Speaker Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month in the Memorial Hall, Oswestry. Meetings start at 10:30 (Doors Open at 10 am for Coffee/Tea and biscuits).
