Our Travel Group is planning a trip to the Southport Flower Show, a long-standing event cherished for its traditional displays and friendly atmosphere. Members can expect to see colourful flower beds, vegetable and fruit competitions, and carefully arranged floral exhibits that show off the best of gardening skills. There are also craft and gift stalls, with plenty of space to browse at a relaxed pace. Visitors can enjoy demonstrations on flower arranging, horticulture talks, and small animal displays, while the showground cafés and picnic areas provide a chance to rest and enjoy refreshments.

Southport has wide beaches, fresh air, and a calm feel that many people enjoy. The long pier is closed at the moment. Lord Street has smart shops, cafés, and places to sit and watch the world go by. There are neat gardens, old buildings, and a proud past linked to seaside holidays. You can enjoy good food, gentle walks, and time to relax, all in one friendly town. If you just want to go to Southport and not the Flower we will be dropping off in the town.
