We are pleased to welcome Janet Howard as this weeks speaker, who will introduce the work of PALZ (Professionals with Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support). PALZ is a support organisation set up to help those from high-powered work backgrounds who are now living with the early stages of Alzheimer’s Disease or similar conditions. The group offers a friendly, stimulating environment where people and their carers can share experiences, find peer support, and enjoy social and intellectual activities together. Janet will explain how PALZ helps to maintain dignity, confidence, and self-respect, while offering carers and supporters the chance to benefit too.
