Oswestry u3a is pleased to welcome Blood Bikers for what promises to be a very interesting and inspiring talk. Blood Bikers are volunteer motorcyclists who give their time to carry blood, platelets, samples, donor breast milk and other urgent medical items between hospitals, free of charge, often during the night and at weekends. Their work helps support the NHS and can make a real difference when time matters most. This talk will give members the chance to hear more about the service, the people behind it, and the important role they play in helping patients and hospitals across the region.
