This week we are taking a walk through the peaceful Llantysilio Woods in the heart of the Dee Valley. This is a truly scenic part of the countryside, with tall trees, winding paths, and lovely views down to the River Dee below. In spring, the woodland floor is often bright with fresh growth and wild flowers, making it a pleasant and rewarding place to walk.
Our route follows well used woodland paths and quiet tracks, with some gentle slopes along the way. The walking is steady and manageable, giving time to enjoy the surroundings and take in the peaceful setting. At around three to four miles, it is a comfortable distance for a relaxed outing.
This is a fine walk for those who enjoy woodland, riverside views, and good company in one of the most attractive parts of North Wales.
