This is an extended 5 mile walk follows a well-liked route around Morton Church and including Crickheath. We start at Morton Church, a fine old building that has stood here for many years. From the church we head out along quiet lanes and field paths, enjoying wide views across open farmland. The route reflects how this area has been walked and worked for generations.

The canal tow paths can be uneven and muddy at times, so good walking shoes are advised. The walk keeps a steady pace and allows time to take in the views and the history of the area before returning to the church.
