This 5 mile walk begins at St John’s Church at Pool Quay and is a more strenuous outing for those who enjoy a good challenge. We start along the Montgomery Canal, where the path is level and easy, before heading up hill onto higher ground. From here there are wide views over the valleys, with lovely sights looking back down to the canal below. The route includes steady climbs and some uneven sections, so a reasonable level of fitness is needed. Taken at a steady pace, there will be time to pause, enjoy the scenery, and share good company along the way.
