We are pleased to welcome Michele Bennett, who will give a fascinating talk on the history of stained glass. From its earliest uses in Ancient Egypt, through the great cathedral windows of medieval Europe, to the creative work of today, Michele will guide us through the development of this unique and colourful art form. Expect beautiful images, surprising facts, and a new appreciation of the skill and craft behind these luminous works. This promises to be an interesting and enjoyable look at an art form that has brightened buildings and inspired people for centuries.
