This is a moderate walk of spectacular views, through industrial heritage scenery. Although only 3.8 miles it will take around two hours because there are so many viewpoints. Starting at Trevor Basin, this walk follows the path down past the old Monsanto works, then up to the village of Cefn Mawr to a viewpoint overlooking the Dee Valley; down through the village to Newbridge, and more viewpoints. We then head back to Ty Mawr Country Park , walking alongside the Viaduct and back towards the Aqueduct, following the river Dee.  We climb the steep steps back up to the top of the Aqueduct and back to the cafe. Parking in the Pontcysyllte Chapel Cafe car park. They do charge, but you get your money back if you spend £10 or more in the cafe., they open at 10am There is some roadside parking if you turn up the road just before the Chapel Cafe car park. It is signposted to Community Centre, and the road goes in a loop to a small convenience store.
