This 3.5 mile moderate walk from Ifton Meadows in St Martins is a popular route enjoyed by members of Oswestry u3a. We start from the small parking area next meadow area and follow well-used paths through open fields and along the edge of the nature reserve. The walk is taken at a steady pace, with time to chat and enjoy the views across the meadows and nearby countryside. We enjoy our banana break on the border between England and Wales. It is a pleasant walk in most seasons, with birds and wildlife often seen along the way. Some paths can be soft after rain, so good walking shoes are advised. This walk suits members who enjoy an easy to moderate walk in a lovely local setting.
