Oswestry u3a is pleased to offer an upcoming walk from Trevor Basin, a place full of history and views. This easy walk follows the canal, where members can enjoy still water, old bridges, and open countryside. The pace will be steady, with time to talk, rest, and enjoy a banana break along the way. This 4 mile walk, rated as easy, is suitable for most walkers who enjoy a relaxed outing with good company. We normally finish in the Old Tearoom for refreshments.

Parking in the Pontcysyllte Chapel Cafe car park. They do charge, but you get your money back if you spend £10 or more in the cafe., they open at 10am There is some roadside parking if you turn up the road just before the Chapel Cafe car park. It is signposted to Community Centre, and the road goes in a loop to a small convenience store.
